Aquatran Premium

Aquatranpremium ismade from extruded thermoplastic polyether based polyurethane (TPU) withexcellent wear & tearproperties. The reinforcement is madefrom circular woven filament polyester yarn. The "extrusion through theweave" production method gives a very strong bonding between cover andlining as well as firmly encapsulating the woven polyester.

Features

The TPU-material used in potablewater hoses has a high resistance againstcommonly used chemicalsand degradations due to UV radiation. Also, the excellent abrasion resistanceof the TPU material enables the use of very thin and lightweight hoses withlarge diameters to be quickly and easily deployed in disaster areas withoutrisk of damage to the hoses.

The circular weaving of thefilament polyester yarn ensures interlocking of thereinforcingyarns and increases both tensile strength and pressure rating. The interlockingweave ensures that the extension in length does not exceed 2% when pulled orpressurized. This keeps "snaking" of the hose at a minimum. TPUpotable water hoses can operate in a temperature range from -50 C degto+75 C deg and can withstand intermittent use up to +80 C deg.
